Recommind Adds Senior Director of Consulting Services to Help Customers Evolve Their Usage of Predictive Coding
David Gorman, Former RenewData and AT&T Executive, Brings Over 15 Years of eDiscovery Experience to Recommind
SAN FRANCISCO – October 8, 2010 – Recommind, the leader in predictive information management software, today announced the appointment of David Gorman as Senior Director of Client Services. In this role, Gorman will help Recommind’s burgeoning list of law firm and enterprise clients effectively implement, use, and build customized measurement methodologies around the company’s suite of eDiscovery products. Specifically, Gorman will focus on helping customers take advantage of Recommind’s revolutionary Predictive Coding technology, which enables attorneys to assess document responsiveness, privilege and issue relation before the review process begins.
Gorman brings over 15 years of experience in the design and execution of strategies used in all facets of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). Prior to joining Recommind, Gorman served for six years as the Consulting Director at RenewData, where he directed client engagement teams and was responsible for developing the Vestigate™ document review methodology. Prior to RenewData, Gorman served for six years as the Operations Manager for AT&T’s Law & Government Affairs division, where he was responsible for strategizing with internal clients and outside counsel firms to determine the best methodology for automating litigations, merger & acquisitions, regulatory filings, corporate compliance and IP initiatives. Gorman is a member of several eDiscovery organizations and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Dowling College.
“Recommind has a reputation of innovation, industry expertise and unwavering customer support. I look forward to contributing to all three areas,” Gorman said. “After spending 15 years helping companies refine and evolve their eDiscovery process, I can speak first-hand about the urgent and global need for Predictive Coding. I’m excited to help customers unlock the power of that technology and incorporate its benefits into their daily workflow.”
“Dave is joining at a very exciting time for Recommind and a turning point for the industry,” said Keith Bernstein, Vice President of Professional Services and Support, Recommind. “Predictive Coding is completely changing the paradigm of how enterprises and law firms approach document review and analysis. Having Axcelerate eDiscovery deployed is only half the equation, though. Organizations also need measurable, repeatable models and methodologies for tracking usage and results. Dave will help ensure that every single Recommind customer has the support they need to truly maximize their investments.”
