RECOMMIND and Force 3 Establish Federal Market Partnership and GSA Schedule Pricing
Fairfax, VA – February 16, 2005 –
Recommind, the leading provider of advanced text management systems for the corporate and federal markets, has teamed with Force 3 to offer GSA-approved schedule pricing (GS-35F-0785J). The following Recommind software products are now available on the GSA schedule:
MindServer Retrieval 3.0 – Next generation platform for concept-based search using Recommind's patented PLSA technology.
MindServer Categorization 3.0 – Content Categorization and Taxonomy Management tools based on Recommind's patented PLSA technology.
Recommind's next-generation MindServer platform, based on recently patented Probabilistic Latent Semantic Analysis (PLSA), enables the capture, transformation, analysis and dissemination of critical unstructured information across multiple domains, languages, and formats. “Force 3 constantly surveys the information technology market to find quality solutions to meet our federal customers' critical requirements” said Tim Carney, Vice President of Force3. “IC and law enforcement customers asked us to find the latest innovations in information discovery solutions. Our search led us to Recommind's unique PLSA technique implemented in MindServer software, and an impressive install base in government, legal and media industries. We are delighted to add Recommind to our portfolio of highly respected information technology providers on our GSA Schedule.”
Recommind is working with federal agencies including NSA, DHS, NIH, Air Force, Army Intelligence and DIA to aid in the detection of non-obvious concepts and relationships, as well as to categorize and route critical information based on its content. Contrary to earlier generations of machine learning and concept based discovery software, Recommind's discovery products are domain adaptive without requiring training documents, thesauri or lexicons, thereby enabling rapid deployment with industry leading precision and recall.
“The combination of our GSA offering and partnerships with leading integrators position us well to serve the federal market,” said Glenn Pulling, Recommind's Vice President, Federal Operations. “Federal agencies have had a keen interest in our machine learning techniques, which are ideal for applications requiring highly relevant, concept based information discovery and entity extraction with high out of the box functionality.”
