Sales Engineer – eDiscovery (San Francisco, NYC, DC)
Responsibilities:
The Sales Engineer will assist the sales and partner/business development organizations in developing and closing sales with Corporations, Government agencies and Law Firms. The SE shall be responsible for Recommind’s eDiscovery offerings (Axcelerate ECA & Collection and Axcelerate Review & Analysis), but should be effective at presenting the entire value proposition of Recommind’s products. Specific responsibilities include:
• leading technical discussions with C-level executives and technical decision makers, including detailing technical specifications, product roadmaps, deployment, and third-party integrations;
• architect product solutions for prospects’ environments and communicate capabilities to establish value for the offering;
• act as a resource to educate sales on relevant product and market knowledge
• create, deliver, verticalize and maintain standard product demonstrations;
• communicate client feedback to product management and engineering
• perform custom demos or proof of concept (“POC”) implementations and deployments;
• complete RFI/RFP responses
• support Marketing efforts including setting up demos and presentations for exhibitions / conferences.

Requirements:
• 5 years or more of pre-sales technical experience
• Pre-sales experience in the eDiscovery market, including: implementing/ maintaining data collection or litigation review enterprise software
• Experience with online litigation review tools
• Experience performing on-site Proof of Concepts (POCs) and custom demonstrations
• Experience completing RFI/RFPs
• Demonstrated success developing relationships with Fortune 2000 and AmLaw 100
• Ability to express complex technical and functional concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• BA or BS required
• Travel as necessary to support sales activity, 40%-60%.
Nice-to-Have:
• Development experience
• Familiar with search technology
• Knowledge of document management systems (i.e. Interwoven, Lotus Notes, Open Text DM, etc)
• Knowledge of Windows systems and architectures, for example Exchange, SharePoint and Active Directory and IIS
• Computer Science background
