The product manager will drive the definition, understanding and requirements of specific products and modules of the Recommind eDiscovery Products – Axcelerate eDiscovery and Insite Legal Hold. The position will report to the VP of Product Management and be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to successful product training and rollout to upgrade and end-of-life strategy. The product manager will work closely with customers, partners and internal teams – including engineering, quality assurance, sales, marketing, and customer support.
Responsibilities:
Understanding what customers want and communicating that need to internal teams in a systematic and precise way
Working with engineering, QA, documentation, professional services and technical support to deliver a compelling product that solves a critical business problem for our customers
Working closely with our customers to capture product feedback, ensure customer success and deliver customer references
Plan and drive robust technical sales tools, including sales engineering training, technical documentation, technical white papers, and technical FAQs to ensure successful product implementations
Providing product expertise in competitive sales cycles, marketing events, and other outbound activities as required
Requirements:
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent. A minimum of 2+ years of product management, sales engineering, or product development experience in enterprise software
Strong technical skills and a detailed understanding of software systems to effectively collaborate with engineering on product requirements
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to translate probing conversations with customers into a compelling, clear, and actionable product plan
Strong leader, self-starter and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment.
