The Technical Project Manager will work directly with customers to understand their business requirements and create a complete solution for them, outlining both how their requirements will be fulfilled and how the project will be implemented. The Solutions Strategist will also directly manage the implementations of Recommind’s Search, Categorization, and Email solutions. Since our products are highly complex and require great technical knowledge in addition to being implemented in a business environment, it is important that you are comfortable communicating and interacting with both business and technical team members. As we are highly successful and busy, it will be imperative that you can handle several projects at one time in order to be successful in this position.
Primary Responsibilties
- Experience taking a set of requirements and creating a complete solution for enterprise customers (5+ years)
- Experience working and managing relationships with enterprise customers
- Strong project management skills and experience (5+ years)
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Proven ability to work with technical, sales and marketing teams across product offerings
- Support pre-sale and pre-implementation efforts
- Contribute to the development of processes for managing customer engagements
- 5+ years experience in enterprise software consulting dealing with large data sets and high-availability systems
- Proven track record in successful customer implementations and management of partners
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter, avid team player and creative team leader with a positive “can do” attitude
- Familiar with Search technology
- Experience working in the legal industry
- Able to travel in US and Europe
- BS in a technical discipline or equivalent (MS desired)
Nice to Have:
- Experience dealing with large data sets and high-availability systems
- Knowledge of Windows systems, e.g., Exchange, Outlook, SharePoint, and Active Directory
- Knowledge of document management system, e.g., iManage, Lotus Notes, OpenTextDM
- Development experience
- Technical documentation management experience
- Information Science/Computer Science background
