Litigation Support Data Analyst - eDiscovery (Boston)

We have an immediate opening for a Litigation Support specialist in our Boston office. Candidate must be proficient in litigation support software and terminology, and well-versed in both image and ESI processing. Candidate must have a technical background and superior communication skills. This position is responsible for the weekend shifts, Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 6PM.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide support for Recommind litigation support software applications
• Serve as point person for legal teams and vendors; communicate with litigation teams as to the status of their databases and coordinate work flow of outside vendors and internal resources
• Develop custom scripts and queries for data manipulation using bat files, ruby, grep or other scripting languages
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot litigation databases
• Create new databases and image collections
• Load and extract ASCII text data to/from litigation support software applications
• Maintain and troubleshoot litigation databases (i.e. perform data normalization, global edits, remove duplicates, overlay or merge data into existing records, index and maintain databases)
• Prepare and QC Productions using LAW, Concordance, Summation
• Quality checking and loading data and image files from vendors into litigation support applications
• Provide application support and troubleshooting assistance to Project Managers and Clients
Software Used:
LAW, Concordance, MS Access, MS Excel, Recommind Insite and Axcelerate (training will be provided on Recommind software)
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of three years’ experience with litigation support within a law firm or a litigation support vendor
• Experience with LAW, Concordance, Summation or other litigation document management system.
• Excellent problem solving ability, verbal and written communication skills, work under strict deadlines in a legal environment and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and attorneys necessary
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under challenging conditions and work as a team player
• Position is full time and covers the weekend shift. Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 6 PM
