Connector Engineer (SF)

The Connector Engineer is responsible for analyzing a variety or data sources and then coming up with a solution to extract the binary content, meta-data and security ACL's and transforming them into the format used internally by our applications. In addition the candidate will occasionally be called upon to help debug issues with current connectors within the client environment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain curent connectors which include Sharepoint 2007, Sharepoint 2010, Exchange 2007, Exchange 2010, Decisiv
• Develop new conectors as need arises
• Develop and maintain Auto tests using JUnit and TestNG for connectors
• When needed assist in debugging client issues with connectivity, permissions or other issues particular to the client environment that cause connectors to fail, and subsequently documentation and communication of these issues to the relevant developer so that a fix can be worked on.
• Ability to deal with low level debugging of processes and network communications
• Ability to independently research a given datasource with little guidance and in some cases little documentation and propose potential solutions for accessing data within
• Ability to come up with solutions that take into account scalability and resource (memory, cpu …) usage

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years of related experience in Java
• .NET experience preferred but not required
• Eager to learn and embrace new tools and technologies
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Open Source Technologies (Apache Commons, Spring ...)
• Experience troubleshooting applications that sit on Microsoft Windows Operating Systems through use of event logs, iis logs, sysinternals etc
• Experience with debugging network protocols mailnly http/s (WireShark, Fiddler) is a plus
• Experience working in eDiscovery is a plus
• Experience with Sharepoint, Exchange a plus but not required
• BA / BS required
