On April 2, 2009, the Iowa Supreme Court approved the adoption of Evidence Rule 5.502 which is substantially similar to recently enacted Federal Rule of Evidence 502.  Evidence Rule 5.502 addresses the disclosure of information covered by the attorney-client privilege and work product protections.
