Regional Manager – Information Access

Responsibilities:
This position is directly responsible for prospecting, developing and closing major deals primarily with Corporate Legal Departments and Law Firms.   The candidate shall also develop and grow relationships with existing customers, and successfully meet or exceed assigned revenue targets. The candidate shall be responsible for Recommind’s Information Access offerings (MindServer Suite and Decisiv), but should be effective at presenting the entire value proposition of Recommind’s products. This will require a detailed understanding of the software suite in addition to the needs of our customers and how our products match up to these needs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in software sales; enterprise software highly desired
  • Consistently ranked as top performer in prior sales experience
  • Demonstrated success developing relationships with and selling to Am Law 100 and Fortune 500
  • Demonstrated ability to sell software solutions across multiple groups in an organization
  • Knowledge of enterprise search, information access, content/document management or related technology desired
  • Independent, entrepreneurial, and results-focused
  • Met or exceeded quota for last three selling years

Regional Manager– eDiscovery

Responsibilities:

e-Discovery Professional Services Engineer


Responsibilities
:

As a member of the Professional Services Group you will work directly with customers and partners, leading implementations of Recommind's e-Discovery and compliance solutions. It's important you are comfortable interacting with both business and technical team members, utilizing both consulting and development skill sets and can demonstrate good project management skills. Previous software consulting experience for a major consulting firm, e-Discovery or litigation support provider, or large ERP, CRM, or DMS company is strongly preferred.


Professional Requirements

  • Experience in enterprise software consulting dealing with large data sets and high-availability systems
  • Experience in working and managing relationships with enterprise customers
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills

As we are experiencing tremendous growth with our solutions, we are actively looking to grow our professional services staff in the San Francisco office. Product Manager

Responsibilities:
Innovators. Leaders. Product gurus. You know who you are. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and get excited about owning your own product(s) and making them successful. You want to figure out the business opportunity, what customers are buying, what messages resonate with them, and how to get the product into their hands - and love every minute of it. Recommind is actively looking for a Senior Product Manager, someone to drive product strategy, market requirements, positioning, channel development and the corresponding partner ecosystem to deliver Recommind solutions. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for prioritizing and managing the product roadmap, features & functions, as well as driving solution/product areas outside and inside the company. This is a hands-on position where you'll spend significant time with customers learning about what they need, helping make sure it gets built, and helping sales collect the PO.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Manage the product requirements process; getting input from customers, prospects, partners, Sales people, Engineering, Support, external market trends and competitors in defining a cohesive set of deliverables that are market-driven and can be feasibly delivered by Engineering.
  • Produce Market Requirements Definition (MRD), Use-Case documents, and Functional Descriptions for existing and new products. Devise effective processes with Engineering to effectively communicate these requirements throughout the Engineering team.
  • Own the Product Launch process, including defining and tracking schedules, creating and managing the product roadmap, the support offerings and processes, the product and support terms & conditions, and other product-related deliverables.
  • Conduct Customer Councils and other programs to better solicit customer and Partner feedback.
  • Perform hands-on business development activity in conjunction with sales to drive your product’s success in the marketplace.
  • Participate in weekly Engineering and Support meetings, providing market-driven guidance on bug fixes, patches and other solutions.
  • Collaborate with other marketers to create product-specific marketing messages and to produce product data sheets, white papers, case studies and other marketing collateral.
  • Provide in-depth product and competitive analyses for use in both product strategy and sales / marketing positioning.
  • Work with other members of the business team to define strategic market segments – including vertical and/or horizontal segments.
  • Be the focal point of answers for the Recommind Sales, Business Development, Marketing and external Business Partner organizations with regard to your product(s).
  • Create and deliver presentations, white papers, communiqués, etc. to internal and external audiences.
  • Present technical presentations and product demonstrations at customer briefings, industry conferences, Industry analyst briefings and other public-speaking forums.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

4+ years of direct experience in managing Enterprise-class software products that are marketed and sold to Global 2000 customers. You must have experience with large, global customers and have migrated customers through several versions of software. You will know the "Solutions Selling" approach to building products and understand that successful customers make successful software companies. Specific qualifications include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Marketing, - MBA is not at all mandatory but is a plus
  • Strong technical background is a major plus - particularly in the areas of search, e-mail management, machine learning, document/content management, and/or collaboration
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Successfully launched multiple software products- with target customers in the Fortune 500 / Global 2000



Desirable Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with the search, document management, and content management product spaces
  • Familiarity with the legal marketplace
  • Familiarity with the litigation support marketplace
  • Experience at both large and small software companies - with a preference for the latter


Senior Accountant
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and will be working side by side with the VP in all matters of Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month and year end closings of US and European books
  • Maintain General Ledger and perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Assist in monthly financial statement prep and quarterly board packages
  • Analysis of revenue recognition and monthly billings
  • Assist in year end audits
  • Actively participate in development and detailed review of annual operating budgets
  • Other finance and operations duties and reporting as necessary

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 or similar experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good MS Excel skills

Web Ops Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic and friendly individual to manage our corporate website operations and create compelling graphical materials and sales tools.  This is a great opportunity to get involved early with a fast growing, well-positioned software company and help build its success.  This individual needs to be proactive, technically adept, organized, a creative thinker and able to juggle multiple roles, projects and responsibilities. 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a webmaster and/or creative genius with branding, lead generation, lead handling or similar campaigns
  • Significant experience with HTML, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, flash and other web site/graphics tools a must
  • Significant experience with Salesforce.com, especially integrating Salesforce.com with lead generation avenues (e.g. inbound leads to web site) a strong plus
  • Experience creating tools used to generate and qualify leads (e.g. flash demos, presentation materials, logos, email campaigns, etc.) a must
  • Proven ability to take initiative, prioritize shifting workload, and meet deadlines

Software Sales Engineer Decisiv Email - Senior Technical Consultant

Job Description:
Provide technical support to Sales Team in order to close new business for software a development company. Specific responsibilities include: creating and leading customized product demonstrations; leading technical discussions with customers and prospects, including detailing technical specifications, product APIs, product roadmaps, deployment, and third-party integrations; provide proof of concept (“POC”) implementations and deployments; architect product solutions for prospects’ environments and communicate capabilities to establish value for the offering; demonstrating company products and answering technical questions for analysts and research groups; completing RFI/RFP responses; and expanding current customers’ licenses. Communicate with customers & prospects and bridge the gap between the market and Product Management. This includes producing product enhancement specifications and competitive analysis studies. Responsibilities also include supporting Marketing efforts including setting up demos and presentations for exhibitions / conferences.

Requirements:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered.

Special Skills:

Professional experience must include: Providing technical demonstrations to corporate executives; Java, XML, Tomcat, XSLT, API, SOAP, CGI; and API integration with third-party products; and SQL, knowledge of reporting tools and database management systems.




Decisiv Email - Senior Technical Consultant

Position Purpose:
The Senior Technical Consultant is responsible for the presales and implementation support of Decisiv Email for Recommind's customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and functional pre-installation advice for Decisiv Email to Recommind's customers.
  • Install and configure Decisiv Email for Recommind's customers.
  • Provide technical and functional support for Decisiv Email to Recommind's customers (particularly up to and including the completion of pilot / proof of concept installations), including:
    • first level support for and resolution of technical issues; and
    • advice and explanation of functional and configuration options.
  • Prioritize and effectively manage customer support calls and requests.
  • Work closely with and coordinate tasks with other members of the Decisiv Email team.
  • Report and document details of technical and functional issues.
  • Update and where appropriate draft technical and user documentation to support Decisiv Email customers.
  • Where appropriate work with third party vendors to facilitate Decisiv Email integration or development initiatives.

Position Requirements

    • Degree in computer science or related field.
    • Experience with enterprise business systems. Law firm experience a plus.
    • Experience with and technical knowledge of Citrix, MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, networking and Windows Server OS. 
    • Capacity to develop a comprehensive and extensive technical and functional knowledge of Decisiv Email.
